Cellular Enhancement
Q: Do these enhancement systems violate FCC Regulations?
A: There are particular guidelines we have to follow. We cannot reproduce the signal outside of a building or design a system so strong that will violate FCC Regulations. Harris Communications will follow guidelines in designing and installing these cellular enhancement solutions.

Q: If we enhance our cellular network, will all of the providers' features, such as PC cards, two-way radios, and computers work?
A: When we design a network for a particular carrier, all features offered by that carrier will work inside your building/structure.

Q: What can I expect this cellular enhancement solution to cost?
A: Properly designed cellular enhancement solutions depend greatly on signal strength from the exterior of the building. The better the signal strength, the smaller sized amplifier you will need. These factors determine the cost of your cellular enhancement solution.

Q: Can you make my cell phone signal work inside the building?
A: It depends. If you have a good signal outside your building, we can reproduce that signal stronger inside to cover the entire building or create hot spots.

In 2004, Harris Communications cabled three new BB&T branches in Columbia, SC; each branch had a fiber optic-fed ATM. Their work was of such quality that they were hired by the general contractor who built two of the three branches to cable a new car dealership here in Columbia. They also just finished repairing two fiber optic runs at one of our Lexington, SC branches.
